I’m going to show you how to make money using Facebook with step by step instructions, by being a smart ecommerce entrepreneur. It is the exact same formula I use to earn $3,170 from Facebook every single month easily by partnering with eCommerce marketplaces, without any investment. You can actually make a lot more than this if you make it a full time business.
You don’t need an office or investment to make money on Facebook. You don’t even need a website, unless you’re ready to take your business to the next level and earn even much more.
So, how do I do it? Let me show you the simple wealth formula I use to earn money from Facebook without investment.
How to Make Money Using Facebook (Step by Step Guide on How I Earn $3,170 on Facebook Monthly Without Investment)
- Have a Facebook account
- Create a Facebook page
- Partner with e-commerce marketplaces
- Set up your Facebook shop
- Promote your store/products
- Earn money from sales
Now learn me explain each of the steps further.
1. Have a Facebook Account
This one is straightforward because you very likely own a Facebook account already. To make money on Facebook, you will need to be on Facebook. So, if you don’t have a Facebook account yet, join Facebook now.
2. Create a Facebook Page
Your personal Facebook account lets you connect with your family and “friends” so you can share your selfies with them, see how their cat is doing, etc. But you will need a Facebook business page to be able to access the tools that will enable you make money.
Here’s how to create an engaging business page and earn money from Facebook.
To get started right away, create a Facebook page here.
Choose “Local business or place” and fill in your business details (Page name, category, street address, city, post code and phone number). You can find the correct Nigerian postal code for your city here. These details are essential so you can have a fully optimized Facebook page and to make your business look credible.
So, endeavor to fill in the correct details that accurately represent your business.
In the “example page” I created, I went with the name EasyMart. Under category, choose Shopping & retail, and click Get started.
Next step is to add a profile picture and cover photo that represent your business. You can always change this at anytime. Since I make money on Facebook by promoting products, I go with photos that are related with the products I promote.
After that, take time to set up and optimize your page. Create a page username:
Add a call-to-action button to help people contact your business. I recommend adding Send Message as your call-to-action button so that customer can easily contact you via Facebook Messenger. You can send them links to various products on Messenger. We’ll get back to this later.
Then, turn on instant replies. This way, your page will send a customized automated message to customers when they contact your business.
Add a description to let people know what your business offers, like your page and invite a few friends too, if you want. Now your page is set:
Next up is to find ways so you can begin to make money on your Facebook page.
3. Partner with eCommerce Marketplaces
While there are so many ways you can make money with your Facebook page, partnering with ecommerce marketplaces is one of the best ways to earn money from Facebook without any investment. This is because you don’t need to buy anything or take care of any inventory.
You only need to sign up as an affiliate with some ecommerce marketplaces, research products that interest you and promote them on your Facebook page.
It is as simple as that. Once a customer buys any product through the affiliate links you share, you’ll be paid a certain percentage of the amount. Commissions differ with products. For instance, eBay pays up to 200% referral bonus for new or reactivated buyers. That sounds fantastic, right?
There are many ecommerce marketplaces you can partner with as an affiliate, but the following are the exact ones I use:
But, my personal favorite is eBay because they have insane commission rates, a broad range of products that ship globally and other incredible incentives and resources to help you make money.
You can start with a niche (say baby wears, eye glasses, ladies shoe, wedding dresses, etc), but I prefer selling as many products as possible.
When you join any affiliate program, you will have a unique referral ID for tracking the leads you generate. You can use this link to send your customers to browse through an entire shop. But in most cases, it is better to generate target links for different products, so you take your customers directly to the product they want to buy without wasting time.
For instance, here is how I generate links for different products I promote on Jumia:
First I’ll go to Jumia website and select the category of products I want. Then, click on the product you’d like to promote to open up the product page. Scroll down to copy the product details and save the photos. These will help you to set up your store.
Now copy the product page address on the address bar of your browser.
Head over to your Affiliate Dashboard and access Link Builder. Paste the product address you copied on Page URL, and your Final URL will be automatically generated.
Now the Final URL is what you will use to send your customers to that product. In this case, here is the product:
Price: N2,640 (formally N5,030). Buy Here. If you click on any of those links right now and buy that wedding ring, I’ll earn some money right away from the sales. If you go back to that shop within 30 or 60 days and buy any other product, I’ll still earn some money from it. Doesn’t that sound cool?
Now take a look again at that Final URL you generated, it is too long and looks ugly. You can’t paste that on your Facebook page or send that to your customers to click. You’ll need to shorten the URL and make it look pretty.
The best and free way to do that is with Google URL shortener. It will make that long, ugly affiliate link look something pretty short like this: https://goo.gl/dCPqPK. This is what you should copy and drive traffic from your Facebook page to the product.
With each conversion or referral you generate, you’ll be paid a commission. Easily, this is how to earn money from Facebook without investment. You become an ecommerce entrepreneur by so doing.
4. Set Up Your Facebook Shop
Your are going to be promoting products on Facebook, so you will need to upload the products to your Facebook shop. The category of page you created already came with a Shop section. Now, you only need to set it up and list your products.
Clicking on the Shop tab on your page for the first time will bring up the following screen:
Agree and continue to configure your shop. Select a checkout method – whether you want your customers to interact with you via messages to buy or to checkout on a website. Choose your currency and click save.
Your shop is about set. Now add a brief description of the products you sell and begin to upload your products.
The key is to research for products that are not common and will have a high turnover. Choose quality products that will serve people’s needs. When you are doing product research on ecommerce marketplaces, always look at the seller and product rating to be sure of the quality and authenticity.
Sell only high quality products to your customers to earn their trust. Once they trust what you recommend, they’ll keep buying more.
Upload products with their full details and how to buy. This is how to list products on your Faceook shop:
Note that in the example here, I opted to send customers directly to the product page instead of having them to send me messages. So, I pasted the affiliate link I have shortened in the Checkout URL.
You can upload as many products as you want, group them into different collections and share on your page.
Looks beautiful, isn’t it?
5. Promote Your Store/Products
Now here is the main thing. You need to begin to promote these products so you can earn money from your Facebook page. You can promote your products in two ways: organically and paid promotions.
Start with the Facebook paid promotions (ad campoaign) to find the right audience/customers.
You can share an entire collection of products or just a single product on your page and promote. You’ll need to boost the post and define your audience. When you target the right audience, your posts will do well and you will have a very high conversion rate, making money in the process. You can target based on gender, location, interests and other demographics.
Also, you may choose to promote an entire collection or a single product. Remember to generate a unique link for each product and shorten them with Google URL shortener.
A customer will either be able to click the buy button or view the product details and checkout on the website:
When a customer places an order, the merchant or ecommerce marketplace will process and deliver it. You don’t need to worry about anything else. Just wait and earn your money.
The good thing with Facebook sponsored advertising is that you will be able to reach a wide range of well targeted audience instantly. The more people are interested in your products, the more they’ll like your page and engage with your posts/products. And the more they share your products, the more organic reach you’ll have, taking your products to as many people as possible at little/no cost.
Going forward, you will learn to also promote your products organically. When you have substantial followers on your page, most of them will see the products that you share. But don’t rely on this alone. You can run an ongoing promotion for each of your collections monthly for as low as $20/month (N7,000). This is insignificant when you consider the amount you’re likely to make every month.
Additionally, when you post a product to your page, you can share it on your personal profile too. Your friends and family may be interested and it will help give it more organic reach.
It is not always though that you’ll need to shove your products down people’s throats. Learn to grow and engage your audience by creating relevant content about your products that they’ll come to like and share.
Mastering content marketing will take your business to the next level and skyrocket how much you earn from Facebook without investment.
6. Earn Money from Sales via Your Facebook Page
That is that. You can now begin to make money using Facebook, almost on autopilot. You are promoting quality products on a well configured Facebook shop. Just set up an ongoing promotion and see money dropping in your account everyday.
How much money you earn from your Facebook page will depend on the nature of products you promote and how creative you are with your promotions.
This is one of the best and easiest ways to make money using Facebook. When you’ve earned a lot from this business, you may decide to create your own online store and scale your business.
This is just one of the many ways I earn money from Facebook, and this same formula will work for you too irrespective of where you are.
